Oh the fun part was that every one managed to choke down there piece of chicken, but Grandpa with his dentures had a real problem. So there is a real question  as to how much of his revenge he got to enjoy. Now,  this story is real, well as real as I write them.

Yes Raccoons are big problems for country folk, especially farmers. Unless the land gets "cleared" out every 5 to 6 years you get over run..I have been out nights where we got twenty coon per every fifty acre. A good coon dog is really something to see in action. I got me a dog right now, got him from the pound, he is a born hunter. It is so funny he is so mild mannered, but let a ground hog enter our yard and he goes right for the throat. My wife is sort what aghast by this and I keep reminding her just how valuable that dog would be in days gone by.  It might be that  he does the same thing to cats, squirrels, mice, but I can take him out in the front yard and he will not chase a cat. He'll tell me it is there and that it bothers him, but he won't make one move towards it. He is also scared of our parrots...lol

If I could still hunt I'd make that dog a champion, he has something I have only seen a few times in my life, he has real dog sense, he goes out in the yard and tracks mice down, funny thing is, if you drop some food on the floor he can't find it...lol
